The E-flite Conscendo Evolution 1.5m PNP Powered Glider Airplane is an evolution of the original Conscendo. This is the most powerful, capable and fun to fly Conscendo ever developed! A stronger and stiffer airframe molded from higher density EPO combines with the more powerful 3S and 4S compatible power system featuring a telemetry-capable ESC to deliver higher speeds and more aerobatic performance — while offering the same smooth sport flying and soaring capabilities the Conscendo has always been known for.

Features:
  • Evolved to be the most powerful, capable and fun to fly Conscendo® yet for soaring, sport flying, high speeds and high energy aerobatics
  • Higher density EPO results in a stronger and stiffer airframe capable of more aerobatic performance and higher speeds
  • More powerful 3S and 4S compatible brushless power system with outrunner motor and folding propeller
  • 30A telemetry-capable ESC provides real-time battery voltage, current, motor RPM and other data (via compatible receivers and transmitters)
  • Long flight times up to 15-20+ minutes with a mix of power on/off flying using 3S 1300–2200mah or 4S 1000–2200mAh batteries
  • 4-channel control including ailerons with four (4) factory-installed servos and linkages
  • Easy to launch, fly and land, making it a perfect choice for a first powered sailplane model
  • Lightweight yet durable composite-reinforced, high-density EPO construction
  • Easy to install/remove two-piece wing and stabs
  • Fast and easy assembly – no glue required

E-flite Conscendo Evolution 1.5m PNP Powered Glider Airplane (1499mm)
Very impressive flying sailplane. First off out of the box has a minor crack in the alieron hinge but nothing serious so had to use foam glue and turn out look ready to fly.

I got it clocked 82 mph with 4s on downwind which is very impressive. Excellent vertical and lasts about 15 minutes flight.

E-flite Conscendo Evolution 1.5m PNP Powered Glider Airplane (1499mm)
I bought this plane 7 months ago. Since that time I was forced to invest over $200 and around 50 hours of my time to repair, fix issues and improve the plane. God bless, I used to build my own planes, so I was able to resolve issues. But I'm pretty sure it's not the end of my "adventures" with this plane.
First of all, there is no chance to fly it without the gyro! If you are Spectrum man, you have a chance to use the advantages of AS3X. But if you (like me) are a Futaba man, you will need to buy an additional gyro module, because the planner aerodynamics is not so good to fly without any hardware auto-correction.
Second, the planner structure has several serious issues. The main one: wings are not properly located in the horizontal plane to the fuselage. The right wing is lower than the left one. Initially, I thought it's just my plane issue, but after the first couple of crashes, when the fuselage got broken so hard that it would be easier just to replace it with a new one, I found the same issue in the brand new fuselage and new wings - absolutely the same issue! Solution: to use a couple of nylon washers on the right side to lift the wing angle. But the crevice appears under the wing, plus, it's adding a structural weakness at the wing mounting.
Next issue: the fuselage is too soft. It's literally chattering during the flight, like a fish tale, also leading to the wings vibration, especially at the higher speed. Some friend of mine even said that his old Conscendo S fuselage was even softer, and he stopped using it because of this. So it looks like this is the common issue of the whole series of these planes. Solution: to add carbon rode inside (which is not fixing the issue) or to harden it externally with carbon fiber (what is adding the weight).
Fourth, there is a very tiny space inside the fuselage. As a Futaba fan, I was forced to buy an additional gyro module breaking my mind to find the space where I could install it there.
Fifth, as many others said in their comments, there are no hinges in ailerons, elevators, or the rudder. They simply placed a sticky tape over the foam. As a result, it will be broken and torn after a couple of months of active use.
Sixth, the servos they use are cheap junk with plastic gears. Even the motor shaft's gear is plastic-made. Even the cheapest 9g servos from my reserve have copper gear. As a result, all original servos got out in a couple of weeks.
So why did I put 3 stars instead of one? Just because it looks cool and can fly fast enough ... after tons of improvements. But for the price I paid in total, I could get a much much better plane.
