Dynamite Metered Glow Driver w/2600mAh NiMH Battery
dynamite needs to redesign their glow drivers to accept other sub c-cells. i bought (2) 5000mAh NiMH and (2) 4500mAh NiMH on line and they are a little too wide. the sad thing is you can't buy a replacement battery that fits. you have to buy another glow driver.

Dynamite Metered Glow Driver w/2600mAh NiMH Battery
Unfortunately I have to agree with the other reviewers this glow igniter simply does not work. I had to purchase this at my hobby shop whilst in a pinch and got all the way to the track and realized....no battery. Went back got one (the Sigema 2600), charged it, nothing. Since then I've tried another Sigema 2600....and at most I'll get a faint glow. I've been charging glow plugs for going on a decade now, and I've learned the best glow igniters are the inexpensive ones.

Dynamite Metered Glow Driver w/2600mAh NiMH Battery
the 1st time i charged this and went to the track, something rubbed or shorted and it melted the rear right off, luckily my shop sold the same one, so they replaced it, they went to put my charged battery in it, then they broke the back off (there are only threads half way around!! and they are plastic) so the replaced yet ANOTHER one..My recommendation is to never take the back off or tighten it or anything, or BUY A BETTER PLUG STARTER!

Dynamite Metered Glow Driver w/2600mAh NiMH Battery
I bought one of these glow plug drivers. I should have read the reviews. It didn't come with directions but it's pretty simple. It says on it a solid light means it's charging. 2 days and various USB adapter boxes and the light stayed on. It doesn't warm glow plugs. The gauge stays planted on dead. It's not useful for heating glow plugs. It's too light to make a good doorstop. Not really useful for anything I guess.
