The DW Hobby E17 Yak 55 Electric Foam Airplane Combo Kit is a typical "flat foamie" type of aircraft design, that is highly aerobatic and capable of advanced 3D aerobatics. From mild to wild, the only limit to it's flight envelope is the skill level of the pilot. It's EPP design offers incredible durability when unplanned landings occur. Often times it can rebound unscathed, but in the event damage occurs, it's quite simple and quick to fix with common glues such as super glue or epoxy.

DW Hobby E17 Yak 55 Electric Foam Airplane Combo Kit (800mm)
Love this plane! Had a Great Planes Yak 55 back in the day and was looking for something similar. I Got the combo kit and was very impressed. Probably the most complete kit I've ever bought. The only things I had to provide was my receiver, battery and aileron Y connector. They even provided 2 props in the kit. Usually when I buy a kit I don't use most of the hardware that comes with it due to poor quality. Not this one. All the hardware was top notch. Great quality and fantastic flyer. Pure fun for cheap money. Buy one - you won't be sorry!

DW Hobby E17 Yak 55 Electric Foam Airplane Combo Kit (800mm)
for the money, this is an excellent plane. I've had mine over 3 months, still flying the same motor and servos. I say "excellent" because the build time and durability. Aileron rolls are amazing and hangs the prop with ease. However, consider the SBACH, at the same price, just a little bit bigger and is also amazing. I bought 2 SBACHs, one for each son. Got myself the yak. the 3 of us fly one batter at least daily weather permitting.
