DuraTrax IntelliPeak ICE DC Competition Charger
The Duratrax ICE compition charger is a VERY good charger that does it all, I use the Team checkpoint TC-1030 Pro charger (its the same as the Duratrax ICE but it can discharge up to 30 amps as where the ice can only discharge up to 10 amps) its about 40 bucks more then the ICE and like i said the only diff is the discharge rates, But they are some of the best chargers out right now with out having to spend 300+ for 130 bucks you have a charger that can do anything you want it too and does it with pinpoint accuracy, it will show you voltage curves on a graph if your cycling NIMH packs so you know what packs to save for the main as some times you cant trust the labels it will show you true discharge curves run times and each cells performance. Trust me it will be the best 130 dollars youve ever spent on a charger, So pretty much if you run Lipo just buy the Ice it discharges up to 10 Amps and thats plenty for your NIMH sport packs and play packs if you run NIMH race packs and need a high discharge rate to keep them putting the big amps out the buy the Team checkpoint verison!

DuraTrax IntelliPeak ICE DC Competition Charger
Has hard to find 10amp discharge, great for high mah. No balancer built in so you need an external one, which is a little slower (maybe 10-20% slower?) than charging on a charger with a built in balancer but it still gets the job done. I charge lipos on a different charger with balancing built in because its faster but I will keep the DTX until it dies just for the 10amp discharge feature to keep lipos in top shape. It only does 1-4s lipo :(. All 10 batt charge/discharge info (with your custom batt name at the very top, ez on the eyes) is dispayed 1 thru 10 just by turning the knob left to right, no button pushing until you select one. Motor break in feature has helped me keep brushed motors in shape after maintenance (stock short course, traxxas titan, etc). If you record the amps of a brushed motor when new it gives you a baseline to monitor its performance over its lifetime.

DuraTrax IntelliPeak ICE DC Competition Charger
I have had this charger since 2007 and it is still awesome. I don't use it as much anymore because I have 2 Checkpoint TC-1030s which are really just the Ice with a couple more features and a backlit screen. This charger has remained accurate and reliable despite sitting on my pit table in the sweltering Florida summers. If I need to charge more than 2 batteries at a time, this baby gets pressed back into service and still performs like it did when new. I cannot recommend this charger enough.
