Built off the success of the 2023 Maverick platform with major updates and improvements to remain at the top of the No-Prep Drag Racing elite platforms! The 2024 Maverick No-Prep Drag Racing Chassis Kit from DragRace Concepts represents the pinnacle of performance and innovation in the realm of No-Prep drag racing. This chassis kit is meticulously designed to accommodate DragRace Concepts Outlaw bodies, offering racers a cohesive platform that embodies over a year of extensive track testing and development by the DragRace Concepts Team Racers across the country. One of its standout features is the maximum legal wheelbase of 13.5 inches, providing enhanced stability at high speeds and a more favorable front-end weight bias. The 3mm carbon fiber chassis boasts an hourglass shape design, fostering vertical flexibility under load, resulting in an arching effect. This unique design ensures both the front and rear ends stay planted on the track, allowing for aggressive power delivery during runs.

The Maverick takes drag racing to new heights with its Kingpin laydown transmission, featuring a 2.6 gear ratio and robust 7075-T6 hard-coated internal gears and top shaft. Heat-treated steel outdrives and a 4mm carbon fiber motor plate can effortlessly handle the power of the hottest 4-pole setups. Special attention is given to the front suspension, featuring 67mm front and 71mm rear injection-molded a-arms. Aluminum front caster blocks with adjustable inserts allow for easy front-end adjustments, and the transmission mount raises the rear a-arm position, ensuring a low ride height for high-traction conditions.

The 2024 Maverick introduces major updates and improvements, refining its dominance in No Prep Drag Racing. The 3mm chassis plate has been profiled to reduce weight by 15 grams, enhancing overall performance. The transmission is raised by 3mm to decrease the CVD shaft angle, ensuring a smoother drivetrain under acceleration. Lowering the motor by 6mm creates a lower center of gravity, improving acceleration and handling at speed. A motor support mount is added, tying the motor plate directly to the chassis, reducing flex for high-bite traction or increasing chassis flex for low-bite conditions.

This elite chassis platform boasts 66mm HD CVD shafts, Outlaw rear axles, premium injection-molded and machined aluminum components, and a 4mm thick rear shock tower to eliminate unwanted flex. The Floating Body Mount System provides an ultra-smooth ride with minimized play.
