The D-Links TRX-4 High Clearance Brass Link Kit is an upper/lower link kit option that features brass upper links, with high clearance brass lower links. This kit is specifically for Traxxas TRX-4 models with 12.3" (313mm) wheelbase and a panhard setup. These brass links have similar weight to stainless steel, but have a tendency to slide over obstacles better.   

NOTE: Photo of assembled links is for illustrative purposes only. The links you will receive are unassembled and require assembly.

Features: 
  • Brass (1/4"): Heavy weight, typically used as lower links for good vehicle balance. It typically slides better then aluminum.
  • High Clearance Option: The high clearance option gives you a bend on the links to help clear obstacles. You may find on certain vehicles this will leave your drive shaft more exposed to damage. Some folks will put spacers between the link and rod end to clock the driveshaft upwards out of the way. 
  • Rod Ends: D-links uses the Traxxas revo rod ends (TRA5347). They have proven to be reliable, long lasting and easily replaced when needed. 
  • Warranty: D-Links are made in the U.S.A. All D-Links are lifetime guaranteed. Send the broken link to D-Links and receive a brand new one. D-Links does not guarantee the rod ends as they are a wear item.
NOTE: Steering tie rod and drag links are not included.

These are a nice upgrade to get some more weight down low. Good build quality but my only complaint is no directions at all. Just a bag of parts… It took some time to figure out which way they need to be facing and which one goes where. I’d suggest doing one at a time and matching them up so you get them in the right place. From what I found (and I’m not all that positive due to no directions) is that the front and rear links need to have the bend closer to rear mounting screws. Otherwise I had some binding and clearance issues.
