Crawler Innovations Lil Nova 1.7" 4.25" Crawler Foams are designed for 1.7" tires, and are based around the RC4WD 1.7 bead locks and 1.7 Interco IROK scale tires. It will fit other bead locks and tires of similar height and width. Approximate size: 4.25" Height x 1.625" Width

These inserts feature a Competition Cut, closed cell inner foam, with a Soft conventional or open cell density outer foam. The closed cell inner foam is super dense, water proof, is not temperature sensitive and is extremely durable. The conventional outer foam is not temperature sensitive, but it is not water proof.

The "Comp Cut" inner has three grooves machined into the area where the outer and inner meet. The machined grooves allow for the outer foam to collapse into them resulting in a much more responsive tire.

Typically, you want to use a firmer foam in the rear than what you use in the front. This will help to prevent the truck from lifting the front end when climbing obstacles or steep grades. Additionally, the heavier the truck, the firmer insert you will want to use. Package includes two foams. Foams are also available in soft (CWR-2001) and firm (CWR-2003) densities.
