This is a pack of three Castle Creations 6.5mm Polarized Bullet Female Connectors. Polarized connectors have a place in the hearts of many modelers as they make it impossible to destroy their expensive electronics and batteries by plugging them in backwards. However, they have been lacking a connector capable of extremely high currents, constantly having to increase their voltage to maintain amperage levels. But what do you do when you’re maxed out on voltage and your setup requires more amperage than battery connectors on the market will handle? What if you don’t want to or can’t increase your voltage due to size constraints or competition rules? The answer is simple, you go green. The Castle Creations polarized connectors will handle up to 200 amps of continuous current (for the 6.5mm version; 75 amps for the 4.0mm connectors) without breaking a sweat at any voltage level used in R/C applications.

These are the highest rated polarized connector on the market. Not only that, but they’re user friendly too! Castle Creations has added ridges to the housing making them easier to grip, they accept up to massive 6 AWG wire, and they're marked "Battery" and "ESC" for easy reference. Batteries and ESCs aren’t the only things they’re useful for though. Use them on your charger leads, parallel and series harnesses, high current amp/watt meters, and anything else that needs super high current. They’re what "going green" should REALLY mean!

Castle Creations 6.5mm Polarized Bullet Connector (3) (Female)
This is in response to Mr. Edmunds I just wanted to mention that getting the bullet ends into the connector goes very smoothly if you heat up the bullet slightly then place the plastic piece on a solid surface and with needle nose pliers or a screwdriver force the bullet in till it pops much similar to the EC line of connectors. Hope this helps.

These are similar to horizon hobby's EC connectors only larger. For me they are easier to plug/unplug than the EC connectors and they handle more current. You can press the bullets in easier by using a pushing device from the opposite side of the wires. I guess you have to have a little experience with soldering connectors to know how to use these but anyone that needs 200A of capacity should be fairly well versed in the hobby.

Castle Creations 6.5mm Polarized Bullet Connector (3) (Female)
I am not one to write reviews, suffice it to say, I have to be a pretty ticked off to take the time to get online and winge about a 6 dollar product. DO NOT buy these bullet connectors. It is a complete pain in the you know what to press fit the bullet into the connector. Once this is accomplished making the male female connection if the bullets arent perfectly aligned is impossible. In trying to make the connection, if any one of the four bullets gets pushed through the back of its connector housing, that housing is now garbage and you must start from scratch. I have only been able to make this product convenient enough to use through modification and in the end it simply is not worth this much time and effort. The soldering process is simple and straight forward as long as you have the appropriate tools and basic soldering skills. It's the connector housing that makes this product completely worthless.

Castle Creations 6.5mm Polarized Bullet Connector (3) (Female)
I laughed when i read that bad review. Not sure what his problem was. I'm guessing the guy did it backwards and tried to put the plastic connector on after the bullets. with castle connectors, the plastic part goes on FIRST, then the bullets, opposite of EC3/5 type where the plastic snaps on after you solder the bullets on. the instructions clearly show this. there is zero issues installing these if you follow the directions.

Anyways, I used to love these castle connectors and have installed a number over the years, but my last batch had different tolerances it seems - some were extremely hard to plug/unplug so i had to loosen them up by squeezing the male ends, which made my others far too loose and didn't fit tightly. Due to this problem and needing more of them, i ditched castles and standardized on ec5's which cost a fraction and I have never had an issue with them fitting different, even between the Chinese brands.

pros:
If you need a connector that fits an 8 awg wire then I'd stick with these.
I also like how they are shorter barrels, so they take up less room and can look better.
Walls are thick too - they are made very beefy.

cons:
Expensive
Questionable QC? mfg tolerance

-2 stars because they are very expensive and I had an issue with them not fitting the same, causing me to abandon using them due to cost of replacing
