This is the Castle Creations 1410-1Y, 3800kV, 4-Pole 1/10 Brushless Motor. The 1410 1Y 3800kv motor brings an extra wallop of power to larger 1/10th scale vehicles such as 2WD and 4WD short course trucks and 4WD 1/10 buggies and truggies. This motor is definitely a step up from the CM36 series motors, with a rotor and stack that is about 40% longer than the CM36 and the 1406, and the rotor is a four pole design for increased torque.
NOTE: Castle recommends 2S as the maximum cell count with the Sidewinder SCT in order to keep the controller happy. When used with the Mamba Max Pro, a maximum cell count of 3S is recommended.

Castle Creations 1410-1Y 4-Pole Brushless Motor (3800kV)
I love Castle products... run them in almost every unit I have built...the 3800kv is a well rounded powerful motor if geared correctly will perform wonderful... seems everyone has to gripe about something these days... if bought in a new sidewinder sct, the esc is free as far as cost go... true you can get faster motors, yet I have this system in a 22 buggy with a 70T/28T spur/pinion and it screams, the 3800 has more torque to run a stiffer gear set up... so it can run with the faster motors...I have run 2400kv through 5700kv without issues in SCT as well as micros.. just love them.

Castle Creations 1410-1Y 4-Pole Brushless Motor (3800kV)
It's a good motor. I put it in my hyper 10 tt and I'm happy with it. I know you can do as good for half the cost though. There are plenty of brands out there. If you have to have the castle name and you have the money go for it.

Castle Creations 1410-1Y 4-Pole Brushless Motor (3800kV)
The RRP on these is $129 on the castle creations site. Given A Main is buying wholesale this pricing is crazy.
