This is the Revival Version of the Gundam Best Mecha Collection 1/144 RX-78-2 Model Kit. It is a commemorative model kit released by Bandai Spirits to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Gundam franchise and GunPla model kits. While retaining the shape at the time of release, technologies such as Iropla, touch gate, and snap-fit are incorporated throughout the 1/144 scale. The color coding of the whole body is reproduced in detail with a sophisticated part configuration. The first ever 1/144 RX-78-2 model kit was issued in the early days of Gundam and required a significant amount of assembly including gluing and painting. With breakthroughs in manufacturing and design, this revitalized kit allows even inexperienced builders to effortlessly assemble their own Gundam, making the joy of model-building accessible to a wider audience.
