Model Kit Overview:
Bandai BB Senshi Super Deformed (SD) #147 Kidoubujin Tengaioh Gundam Model Kit. Kidoubujin Tengaioh is a revered Mobile War God located in the tumultuous land of Gaunland. This mysterious statue, left by celestial warriors, becomes central to the narrative when its seal is broken. Upon awakening, Tengaioh bestows legendary divine instruments upon the Combatant Quintet and grants improved powers to Steel Maru. Tengaioh then joins the quintet in their battle against the Demon Star, whose ambitions include connecting the demon realm with the celestial palace. After the final battle, once freed from the Demon Star's curse, Tengaioh reseals the portal and chooses to re-seal itself in stone, continuing its eternal vigil over the peace of the celestial palace.
The Kidoubujin Tengaioh model is bigger and more complex than most SD BB Senshi, but is still molded in colored plastic for ease of assembly. SD Gundam models are characterized by their "chibi" or "super deformed" appearance. They feature exaggerated proportions with large heads and small bodies, giving them a cute and cartoony look compared to the more realistic designs of standard Gundam models.
