Axon DTS 64P Spur Gear (100T)
Nice very light spur.. For some reason this spur is thinner than others at the teeth, confirmed with calipers, I have 3 spurs all different widths... Kimbrough are widest. Apparently DTS means a direct drive spur, although it says compatible with anything such as touring car.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this spur fits the yokomo BD10 perfectly without need for the little washer shims that is needed for the included pinwheel style axon spur gear, which actually has a thinner inside body width (but wider gear tooth area). I like ths spur because its more contact area between gear and pulley not using the shims. However not sure if I like the idea of the smaller teeth contact patch - the pinion teeth are wider than this spur teeth when they mesh. Probably a non issue unless you're running mod class maybe.
4 stars because this spur has thinner width teeth than the other brands I have, otherwise it would be perfect.
It's kind of annoying how you have to trial and error because every spur is different dimensions.
