The Axial RTR Yeti SCORE Trophy Truck is THE ONE that Axial has been working on for a long time! Axial has always wanted to build a Trophy Truck, but they first had to build a successful platform. Wanting true scale looks with the functionality to match, when Axial delivered the Yeti Rock Racer with its IFS front end and solid rear axle, they knew then they had the key ingredients to deliver the vehicle of their dreams - their very own solid rear axle trophy truck! And to top it off, they went straight to Roger Norman, CEO/President of SCORE International, for his blessing and for official licensing. 

Realistic Scale Details
Realistic scale details include: polycarbonate interior tray with molded driver figures and dashboard, three pairs of black styrene helmets (Sparco, Moto-X, Skully), molded exhaust outlets, molded grill, and molded hood vents. Also included are molded plastic light buckets at all 4 corners. Simply add Axial LED lights and controller for a street legal pre-runner.

Axial Yeti SCORE Trophy Truck
I love this truck. I have 2, 3s Gensys 50c 5300Mah Batteries and i get about 35m minutes of run time with the stock setup of the RTR. I have not clocked the speed but i think it goes around 35MPH on these 3s batteries, these batteries barely fit the battery tray however. You need to remove the factory plastic hold down piece for the battery and use velcro battery straps for them to fit better. It is very hard to get these batteries out of the tray once in due to how tight they fit. Length wise they are fine as well as width, the height is the problem. they need to be like 1mm less tall then they would fit perfectly. I have not ried them but i believe the 5000Mah batteries will be an absolute perfect fit.

As far as the truck if you are doing speed runs on pavement it gets about 35 mph. DO NOT TURN SHARPLY on pavement. The truck traction rolls very very easily on dry pavement, also in grass it rolls easily. If the pavement is wet however the truck is a blast just power drifting all over the place, Dirt is the place to get the most out of this truck for sure. Of course it isnt meant for pavement running and very high traction. I have however rolled the truck at least 25 times and many of those were at nearly full speed. The truck has survived them all with no issues or breakages, other than scratching the body. I am really loving the truck very much and it is a blast to drive on 3s. I have not tried 2s yet as i dont have any 2s batteries but i bet it would still be a blast. In low traction situations i often am runnin on half throttle due to how hardcore the truck will spin out at full throttle but in low traction using nice throttle control it is awesome for power drifting around all over the place and it is pretty controllable.

Over all a great buy and AMain got it to me the exact day that it was forecast to arrive and overall i am very happy with my purchase. I am about to order an SCX10II after writing this review from AMain as well and will continue to shop here in the future.

Axial Yeti SCORE Trophy Truck
Love it just love it bought mines used off of eBay but if I had the founds would have bought it from here. It's very fast and handles nice. If your looking for a trophy truck then this is the way to go.
