Affordable & Highly Capable Mini Off-Road Crawling Buggy

Axial UTB18 Capra V2 1/18 RTR 4WD Unlimited Trail Rock Crawling Buggy. The UTB18 Capra 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy brings the go-anywhere grit of Axial rock crawling rigs to a groundbreaking 1/18 scale size. Easily affordable and fully ready-to-run, the UTB18 enables anyone, with or without RC experience, to enjoy the unlimited scale trail experience even in locations with limited areas for crawling. Its proven design is also plenty capable of giving mini competition enthusiasts an immediate edge.

The UTB18 is similar in design to the popular 1/10 scale Axial Capra 1.9 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy and has a scaled-down Capra tube chassis. Like the larger trail buggy, the UTB18 also has portal axles to provide extra ground clearance for maneuvering. Add in its axle-mounted, low profile 1/10 scale servo for quick, strong steering and the durable 4-link suspension system, and the UTB18 is ready to prove that size has nothing to do with crawling performance. Plus, this mightiest of mini trail buggies is updated with the latest Spektrum electronics. In addition to a Spektrum SLT2 2.4GHz radio, the UTB18 comes with a Spektrum 2-in-1 ESC/receiver unit, Spektrum 2S Smart G2 LiPo battery and Spektrum Smart USB LiPo battery charger!

Perfect for indoor and outdoor crawling, the UTB18 delivers impressive performance on the rocks, climbing rock ledges, flexing over obstacles, and squeezing through tight notches. Officially licensed Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires mounted to officially licensed Raceline Monster wheels give it the grip to conquer rocky trails, rough dirt tracks, and most other off-road surfaces. Body panels with licensed livery, helmeted driver and passenger figures, LED lights and more combine for a realistic scale look to match its crawling capabilities!

Axial UTB18 Capra V2 1/18 RTR 4WD Unlimited Trail Buggy (Grey)
I rarely leave reviews, but I thought I would leave one for this machine. If you are on the fence about this rig, just buy it already. Out of the box (stock tires, no weight, etc.) this rig is extremely capable. I was amazed at the lines it would clear. I put some weight on it (steering knuckles, c hubs and front portal axle covers) and I was laughing at how ridiculously capable this machine is (still running stock tires btw). Sure, I wouldn't call it 1/18 scale per say but it's just a little bigger. It's not huge by any means. My dad has the full-size Capra and this is a much more manageable size. Even he agreed on that. It fits in a standard backpack just fine. I don't know what I was expecting out of this rig, but it has exceeded any expectations I had of it. It is simply just a fun, capable little(ish) crawler that will keep you smiling and keep you amazed at the lines it clears. Oh, and just a little shout out to Amain. I buy stuff regularly from this site and have never had an issue. Fast shipping times and great customer service.
