Gems are now acquired in batches from a central grid, with gold tokens acting as barriers. Snatching gems triggers a privilege for your opponent, introducing a dynamic back-and-forth over the board state. Players aim to reach 20 victory points, secure 10 points in a single color's column, or collect 10 crowns, which are bonuses on cards enabling them to earn the favor of Nobles. The game maintains a brisk pace, with strategic depth packed into just 30 minutes of play.
