The Arrma Typhon 3S BLX Brushless RTR 1/8 4WD Buggy brings the power, strength, and style of the TYPHON 6S BLX buggy to a 3S-capable version that reaches extreme 50+ mph speeds. Making your move into 1/8 scale brushless buggy bashing has never been easier — or more exciting!

ARRMA powers the TYPHON 4X4 3S BLX with its BLX100 brushless system, featuring a 3200Kv brushless motor and 100A ESC. This 3S LiPo-capable setup has proven its speed and toughness in the GRANITE 4x4 BLX monster truck and SENTON 4x4 BLX short course truck. As in those machines, the transmission and chassis have been beefed up to allow this buggy to take full advantage of the electronics’ power.

The low center of gravity, with wide arms and narrow buggy wheels and tires, improves handling over all of your favorite bashing terrain — race tracks, trails, muddy courses, skate parks, and more.

The body is the same size as that of the TYPHON 6S BLX model and captures the same sleek look, with body mounting points tweaked to match the mounting points available on the chassis.

Arrma Typhon 3S BLX Brushless RTR 1/8 4WD Buggy (Black/Red)
Amazing Rc, the best Rc I have ever owned.
I own traxxas and Hpi. Typhon on 3s easily lasts twice as long as my traxxas rustler.
Very durable and fast off road. On road ok but definetly better off road. On road lacks with stock gearing.
The only negative is the A arms are unavailable until march to get them. I hope we will not have to continue to wait on parts. Hopefully horizon will get on top of availability of parts.
This lack of parts was the whole reason I never bought Arma before.
Over all by far the best rc I have ever owned.
Truly A 10 out of 10 for fun and durability.

Arrma Typhon 3S BLX Brushless RTR 1/8 4WD Buggy (Black/Red)
These trucks are okay. The blx system should be powerful enough to outperform the competition from traxxas and the all plastic driveline is surprisingly durable. However, as is always the case with arrma, they had to mess something up. In this case, the shocks leak oil an unprecedented amount and are basically useless. The rear driveshafts are likely to need upgrading at some point but hopefully arrma has fixed this with with the $40 cvd. They are frustrating to work on though. The power module is needlessly over engineered and hard to remove, requires a aftermarket motor mount or to modify the stock fixed mount as it is not cut right to mesh with a 15t pinion, Possibly more, and arrma seems to have no interest in fixing this unacceptable oversight. In addition, the servo is slower and weaker than stated as the specs listed are at 7.2v and the bec is 6v. In general the arrma servos easily start glitching. Consider the competition from traxxas and both need work and I believe you’ll find a more solid base in traxxas.
