The Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck Extreme offers toughness and outrageous 50+ MPH speed that separates this truck from the pack. Precision aluminum, tough steel and composite materials come together for an easy-to-maintain, super-durable vehicle design that’s now been upgraded to further increase the original Short Course truck’s already impressive performance and durability.

The SENTON 4X4 3S BLX RTR is DESIGNED FAST, DESIGNED TOUGH — built for exciting bashing speeds and extreme, all-terrain durability. Features that enhance its unstoppable performance include a stronger chassis and retained hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber-shielded bearings throughout.

It also now includes a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long periods of fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control, plus an improved hand grip and trigger feel. New bashers will be able to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% until they are ready to use the full speed potential. The SLT3 is compatible with Tactic SLT receivers to run other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a third channel to control optional features such as lights and winches on models that have them.

ARRMA now powers the SENTON 4X4 3S BLX with a brushless system featuring its BLX100 ESC and the Spektrum Firma 3200Kv brushless motor. The combination provides incredible torque, acceleration and speed. The transmission and chassis are ruggedly engineered to take full advantage of the electronics’ power.

It has the ingenious modular design perfected by ARRMA engineers for easy component access and maintenance. The power module, with improved dirt management, consists of the motor with ARRMA heatsink and cooling fan, plus motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be detached from the chassis as a complete unit by removing just one screw. With the power module removed, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for adjustments by taking out three screws that attach the gear cover. The gear ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design.

A two-piece molding screwed to the truck’s chassis serves as its electronics module, containing a waterproof receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver mounts inside the receiver box for protection from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, allowing quick access to the on/off switch, while the servo mounts to the side. All three components can be removed together, quickly and easily.

The differential module houses each differential unit in an innovative yoke design. Only eight screws need to be removed to release the front and rear yokes. The power module can then be detached, allowing you to pivot the gearbox cases for differential access. The SENTON 4X4 3S BLX RTR comes brushless-ready with 37T 1.35mod diffs with silicone O-rings. The large gears can withstand huge torque, and internal metal gears have been chosen for reliability during extreme bashing.

Its full-time 4WD transmission uses strong front, rear, and centerline telescopic driveshafts that can’t be lost during heavy impacts, unlike dogbones. A simple, dependable, responsive steering assembly complements the ultra-reliable drive system and features a servo horn with built-in servo saver. The SENTON 4X4 3S BLX RTR includes the waterproof Spektrum SPMS651 metal-geared digital servo for 15% more torque than the previous version’s ADS-7M servo.

The self-bleeding, oil-filled shocks, now with silicone O-rings, use a tried and tested, coil-over design for simple maintenance and amazing handling. Their innovative rod-end has a molded-in spring perch for extra toughness. Extended height dirt defenders and a close-fitting body limit the amount of dirt and debris that can get into the chassis tub. Front and rear bumpers offer defense against impacts.

Tough gunmetal colored, multi-spoke wheels with vented dBoots Fortress SC tires give the 1/10 scale SENTON 4X4 3S BLX RTR Short Course Truck effective traction for bashing on almost any terrain. The aggressively styled Short Course truck body — available in blue/black or red /black— looks great in action and even better up-close, where the attention to detail on the decal and body aesthetics really shines.

This is my first arrma product and im am very impressed so far! I come from the crawler world so this is all new to me. I do plan on getting better tires soon, the stock ones are good yes but on smaller gravel they rip.other then that Amain hobbys stand by there brand and there customer support is out standing!

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
So far, I have run this through a few batteries and am quite pleased with the results. After the first drive I made some tweaks that are probably common with any new purchase. I did have to adjust the end stops which were off on the travel of the servo to prevent over steering. The Servo also is not centered out the gate. I don't race so this isn't a major issue, I only noticed this when performing the end stop adjustments that turning left is a little less of a rotation then turning right. I will center at some point, but the difference isn't noticeable while bashing. I also had the rear right wheel spin off from the hub. I would highly recommend going through the screws and verify that everything is tight from the factory and use Loctite where needed. As mentioned above this is normally a procedure that gets done on a new purchase, but I wanted to see what this thing was made of out of the box. This rig definitely seems durable from the start. I was impressed with the abuse it has endured with the cycles I have run it on so far. This is my first jump to a 3S rig and found it to be a blast to drive. It is defiantly made for off road and built tough. I smacked this head on into a post full throttle "not an intended test" and was surprised nothing broke. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new rig and am very satisfied with my purchase.

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
Wow! So stoked on this purchase. This truck is tough as nails and ridiculously fast when paired with a 3S battery. This is the first ARRMA RC that I have owned, and I can definitely say I'm a fan of their product after thrashing this truck. You really can't go wrong with the Senton 3S.

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
This car is crazy fast and crazy durable! I have been able to put a Hobbywing 4s system through it and the drive train handles it like a champ, all stock with plastic drive shafts and everything, with only one spur gear and one input gear broken after about 4 months! Really though, I do not recommend it on 4s, you will just end up breaking stuff. On a car that weighs 5ish or 6ish pounds you should probably stick to the 3s and spend your hard earned buck on some different tires. That is the true weakness of this truck, along with the A-arms. This thing is fairly stable at high speed, which makes you want to go high speed. But if you happen to hit a rock or stick going flat out then the tire will get shredded and the arm may go as well! But once you upgrade the tires and arms go find an empty lot or field and see what this think is capable of! I would recommend this truck to anyone who has got the extra $80 or so for the upgrades, and has access to a wide open field! It is basically a mini-Mojave. 4 stars for the wonky tires.

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
Great truck! Just make sure you have enough space because it’s fast! Seems well designed with a lot of thought put into easy maintenance. I didn’t need to make any adjustments so it truly is RTR. Just add your battery. I haven’t jumped it or ran it a lot due to weather but I really look forward to taking it somewhere bigger than my small yard to see what it can do.

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
This thing is not only fast, but tough as nails. I cartwheels this thing and it kept going. Also it is hard to flip it over, when I does it rights itself. Would definitely buy Arrma in the future. Traxxas is going to have a real run for there money.

Well your service was great. It’s Horizon that is the problem. The ESC is bad right out of the box I haven’t ran the truck at all. I emailed them last week now this week they will not even get back to me and help me fix the issue. What else can I do?

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
Truck is amazing! My first brushless after switching over from Nitro and I am sold. it just gets up and goes. really has too much power for the stock wheels as they burn up really quick after 5 runs half on grass half on pavement the rear tires shredded and needed replaced. I went ahead and bought 2 more of the dboots as I don't want to change all 4 at the moment but I am sure I will end up doing just that in the near future. hopefully they read all the reviews about the tires and end up going with something different in the future.

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
This was my first SC truck. Got it to rip around the neighborhood and local park. Its super fast and has held up pretty good to the bashing I have put it through. All in all a really great truck.

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
This is my first 1/10 scale RC 'basher' and so far so good! This truck is fast and powerful and can take a pretty good beating. I have not done anything stupid with it and probably won't, but I certainly do drive it! I ended up cart wheeling at 40+ mph, nothing was broken, just some scratches. I also ran into a light pole at maybe 15 mph, no damage. I did get a rock caught in the steering area and another in between the drive shaft and what I think is the ESC. The drive shaft ended up all scarred up, I ordered a new one already. Because the rock was stuck in there, it did cause the motor and ESC to overheat shutting down the truck. Once I figured out what was wrong I was back in action. Also, I am going to check the spur gear and pinion to make sure they are aligned. At slow speeds the tires shudder as it gets going, but once moving it does not seem like there is a problem. Again, my first non-crawler RC so I am not sure if that is normal or if something is wrong.

My main (only?) con with the truck is that it had a hideous paint job, I couldn't stand to look at the truck. Also, the rear fenders are shaped weird and have three bulges, plus there is a weird flare under the doors. Very ugly, but hard to see all the odd bulges in pictures online. It made me wonder if they wanted the vehicle to parachute. I actually considered sending the truck back it was so ugly to me. Instead, I got out my carpenters knife, cut off the weird flares and then got to work on the body with a black sharpie. I peeled off most of the stickers and just colored it with the black sharpie. Looks MUCH BETTER now. I really don't understand why people like these hideous, mental paint jobs, looking at the stock truck made my brain hurt.

I have to say it was tremendous fun driving this truck, I found a couple small piles of dirt, a drop and a step up. The truck nailed all of them with aplomb. Seeing dirt flying in and around you truck as it sails through the air is more fun than I imagined.

I also want to add I did a ton of research before buying the Senton and it seems to me if you want to bash the living bleep out of your RC get an Arrma. If you are looking for better scale looks and something that handles better, another brand might suit you better. Just my opinion. I bought the Arrma Senton because it was relatively cheap and tough, two good things for a first 'basher' RC.

One last thing, many people online have shown this truck doing 50 mph, to me that is cool but where do I go 50 mph and what do I do with that then? Don't get me wrong, the truck zipping by at 40 mph plus is pretty darn cool, that is how I cartwheeled it. However, I would like more acceleration and torque so I have already ordered a 15T pinion and plan on putting that in. Then let er-rip!!!

Arrma Senton 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Short Course Truck (Blue)
This truck is super fast on 3s almost to fast to control even on 50%, on 2s it is still fast but a lot more controllable. It is fun to drive my biggest complaint is the tires on my second 3s battery first run on takeoff it blew off half of a tire. I ordered new tires and so far I haven't had a problem maybe a bad tire I don know I guess we will see. So far the truck seems to be strong and durable I just ordered a stronger steering servo because mine doesn't want to steer right in one direction but I think that I damaged it hitting a swing set.
