Arrma Safe-D5 Mod1 Pinion Gears feature a "D" shaped hole that allows the motor shaft to key inside the pinion gear, eliminating the loss of drive and brakes if the set screws comes loose. This tough steel Pinion Gear is available in multiple tooth count options, allowing you to fine tune the gear ratio. Use the pull down menu above to pick the pinion gear for your application.

I am a huge fan of the D shaft pinion gears series by ARRMA, both the D5, and the D8. Both are incredibly good gears, and very strong, and stand up much much better than their simple set screw counterparts.

Safe-D pinions are the only pinions I run. They last a long time, and you don’t have them fly off and get lost if they happen to come loose. Best pinion on the market.

Will not fit the kraton 8s, Arrma and affiliates really need to update their specs. The newer kraton have a 8mm bore not 5mm.
