The ready-to-run package now also includes a 3-channel Spektrum SLT3 radio and Spektrum SR315 dual protocol receiver. Perfect for long hours of fatigue-free bashing, the transmitter's ergonomic design features a foam steering wheel for precise fingertip control and an improved hand grip and trigger feel. If you're a new driver, you'll be able to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% until you're ready to use the full speed potential. The SLT3 is compatible with Tactic SLT receivers to run other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a third channel to control optional features such as lights and winches on models that have them. Because the SR315 receiver can use SLT and DSMR protocols, you can easily upgrade to a Spektrum DSMR transmitter later — then, download the free Spektrum Dashboard app for your mobile device and take full advantage of the Smart telemetry capabilities already present in the Firma electronics. You'll be able to receive real-time updates of ESC temperature, receiver (BEC) voltage, drive pack voltage and motor RPM.

But it does have 3 weaknesses number one the diffs are way too small for this truck it's mostly the internals but they are too small the spur gear is ok but it could be better. The screws on this think are mostly M3 I wish they used more M4 screws and the electronics I killed every one within a week .The receiver gave my kraton a run away for a 18 pound truck to have a runaway is scary luckily no was hurt Besides that .I beat this truck jumping it 30-60 feet in the air never bent the chassis great truck but the diffs the electronics and screws aren't the greatest.
The only issue was the servo arm was off out of the box. Great pricing for Arrma Get ‘Em sale!!
Looked pretty promising at first more adjustability than traxxas models.
I liked it at first look because it appeared to have adjustability like my older model MP9 TKI3.
Unfortunately when doing preliminary inspections (Shimming diffs, checking shocks assemblies) there were quality control issues.
1st off I don't expect this model to compare to my Kyosho and Mugen cars but I do have the experience in assembling kits.
The set screw in the rear input drive cup was rounded out found it that way before sticking anything in there but worked at it anyway as it needed to get done. So instead of waiting for a reply for possible replacement I choose to go to the local hobby store to get the replacement parts myself. 70 dollars or so to get a new pinion, diff housing bulkhead, and bearings.
Second issue was the rear shocks, not sure if the front shocks will have the same issue. I heard a lot of air bubbles when actuating the shocks so planned to re-oil them. I needed pliers and cresent wrench to remove the oring retainer on the bottom of the shocks only to find that what appeared to be locktite. I mean who puts loctite there? Ridiculous!!
Sure this is a Basher but when this vehicle hasn't even been power on yet it get aggrevating. Now my question to myself is should I spend the money to replace the gouged up and ruined shocks or dump the car. At this point I'm banging my head against the wall knowing I could have upgraded to the latest model mp10 TKI 2 for cheaper.
This model is not worth it.
