The Arrma 1/10 Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX Brushless 4WD Monster Truck delivers jaw-dropping power and 50+ MPH brushless performance. Precision aluminum, tough steel and composite materials come together for an easy-to-maintain, super-durable vehicle design that’s now upgraded for even greater performance and durability.

The GRANITE 4X4 3S BLX RTR is DESIGNED FAST, DESIGNED TOUGH — built for exciting bashing speeds and extreme, all-terrain toughness. Features that enhance its unstoppable performance include a stronger chassis and retained hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber-shielded bearings throughout.

It also now includes a Spektrum SLT3 transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The transmitter is ergonomically designed for long periods of fatigue-free bashing and has a foam wheel for precise fingertip control, plus an improved hand grip and trigger feel. New drivers will be able to set throttle limits at 50% or 75% until they are ready to use the full speed potential. The SLT3 is compatible with Tactic SLT receivers to run other RTR vehicles you may own, and includes a third channel to control optional features such as lights and winches on models that have them.

ARRMA now powers the GRANITE 4X4 3S BLX with a brushless system featuring its BLX100 ESC and the Spektrum Firma 3200Kv brushless motor. The combination provides incredible torque, acceleration and speed. The transmission and chassis are ruggedly engineered to take full advantage of the electronics’ power.

It has the ingenious modular design perfected by ARRMA engineers for easy component access and maintenance. The power module, with improved dirt management, consists of the motor with ARRMA heatsink and cooling fan, plus motor plate, slipper clutch assembly and gear cover. The power module can be detached from the chassis as a complete unit by removing just one screw. With the power module removed, the slipper clutch can be reached easily for adjustments by taking out three screws that attach the gear cover. The gear ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design.

A two-piece molding screwed to the truck’s chassis serves as its electronics module, containing a waterproof receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver mounts inside the receiver box for protection from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, allowing quick access to the on/off switch, while the servo mounts to the side. All three components can be removed together, quickly and easily.

The differential module houses each differential unit in an innovative yoke design. Only eight screws need to be removed to release the front and rear yokes. The power module can then be detached, allowing you to pivot the gearbox cases for differential access. The GRANITE 4X4 3S BLX RTR comes brushless-ready with 37T 1.35mod diffs with silicone O-rings. The large gears can withstand huge torque, and internal metal gears have been chosen for reliability during extreme bashing.

Its full-time 4WD transmission uses strong front, rear, and centerline telescopic driveshafts that can’t be lost during heavy impacts, unlike dogbones. A simple, dependable, responsive steering assembly complements the ultra-reliable drive system and features a servo horn with built-in servo saver. The GRANITE 4X4 3S BLX RTR includes the waterproof Spektrum SPMS651 metal-geared digital servo for 15% more torque than the previous version’s ADS-7M servo.

The self-bleeding, oil-filled shocks, now with silicone O-rings, use a tried and tested, coil-over design for simple maintenance and amazing handling. Their innovative rod-end has a molded-in spring perch for extra toughness. Extended height dirt defenders and a close-fitting body limit the amount of dirt and debris that can get into the chassis tub. Front and rear bumpers offer defense against impacts.

Four dBoots Fortress MT tires on gunmetal multi-spoke wheels give the GRANITE 4X4 3S BLX superb bite on a multitude of surfaces. ARRMA has also installed a wheelie bar as standard. The aggressively styled truck body looks great while bashing and even better up-close and personal, with great attention to detail on the decal and body aesthetics. Choose green or red trim schemes.

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
This is a Fantastic entry level RC Truck for the price. The durability of the pinion and spur gear is right on par with all RC brands as most novice RC users without prior experience will strip spur gears so it's a good thing spare parts can be ordered. My 7-year old daughter has had this model for about 2 months. After proper instruction, her Granite has been cruisin right along with Dad's Typhon 3S and 6S.

If you don't already know about Arrma, know that the 3s line is a great jumping off point into this hobby being as close to hobby grade as you can get. Every RC car has it's issues, and the 3s line is not without them. BEFORE you run ANY rc, inspect all screws, inspect the GEAR MESH (Google it), and inspect all wheels for tightness on the axle as sometimes they tend to not all loctite and fall off while you're driving. The most common things that break on these 3s rigs are arms, stock servo (replace right away or when it fails), rear wheelie bar, and the rear of the body (tailgate area. Use Gorilla Clear Construction adhesive and drywall tape). Other things to keep in mind: Look into replacing the bearings in the motor with TRB, Jims Bearings, or AVID. I would cut a hole in the chassis where the spur gear sits to let dirt out which helps the spur gear not strip from rocks. Check your motor mount if you crash hard as it can bend and that will cause you to strip spur gears until bent back straight. Replace the REAR plastic input and diff with metal to make it bulletproof on hard landings. Once you get the gearing dialed in and upgraded, these Granites take a serious beatin! Don't go crazy with the stock plastic gearing haha!! Also, widening this thing with either Typhon arms and end links or Hot Racing extender kit gives it much better straight line traction! Love the Granite!

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
I have had more problems with this thing than I have with other vehicles including from the same brand I just think I didn't get a very good one and it's all good. Pretty straightforward to work on. I really appreciate the customer service from AM because they actually read the reviews and try to help when they can and they've done it for me multiple times with multiple different rc models over the years.

My honest opinion this is a good rowdy MT. I find it to be generally unreliable but as I said that may be lucky one I recieved. I would like to get it sorted out so I could beat on it and then testify to its actual durability because right now it's none.

I do know what I'm doing around these things, And while it's relatively straightforward to work on it's also much more time-consuming than other designs and it's also older so I'm not really complaining so much is observing three stars is Because I should've known what I was gonna get, at that price point.

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
It is amazing. High quality build and parts. Pulls wheelies on running just 2s lipo batteries, great for kids and beginners. Slightly smaller than old emaxx but much faster than the dual motor old beast. Overall the Granite is great!

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
Got this for the wife's first "trick" truck. She wanted to learn to do back flips and wheelies. So far she is loving the truck and thought it was lack luster until I put the 3s battery in. Now it's all I can do to keep packs charged for her. Super tough truck and seems durable. I would highly recommend this truck for a step up to a 3s truck.

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
I got this for my son last year. This thing is a rocket !!!! The 50% 75% or 100% power settings are great for a kid getting used to 3s power. Super simple to select power settings, just a flick of the switch on the back of the remote. I have fun running this truck myself. I was jumping it upwards of 20 feet then landing on hard packed dirt. I see myself getting one to.

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
I like the truck but have found the o-rings that seal the shocks pinched. I know that this usually creates leakage eventually. My concern is that if the shocks were overlooked in quality control what else was missed. I can see 1 getting by but all 4 pinched and it wasn’t caught in quality control. That is my concern.

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
I paid $320 for this piece of junk It hasn't even been 1/2 year and I already have gone through 2 diffs and I would recommend getting a traxxas stampede because you can bash it over and over and it wont quit. I have had my stampede for almost a year and no diffs have been broken. Oh and the last issue is the granite will go through any tire you throw at it so if you do want to get it make sure you get extra tires or a better car. The driveshafts are also a HUGE weak spot on this i got a new pair and it didn't even last 5 minutes, I am very disappointed in Arrma they should be ashamed

Arrma Granite 4X4 V3 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless 4WD Monster Truck (Red)
I wouldn't recommend this truck to any one. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand. We purchased this for my son's 10th birthday and he only got to use a couple of times when on the third day the spur gear was stripped down to nothing. We were using the stock battery and motor with the transmitter set at 50 & 75% as he learned to handle it. The truck lasted for 30-40 minutes and is now sitting in his room as a reminder of a BAD birthday gift. HobbyTown was understanding and has ordered a new spur gear that will hopefully be here in a weeks time but it is really in Arrma's court now.
