Arrma Granite 4X4 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Monster Truck (Orange/Black)
I did about 1-2 months of research on the 1/10th scale bashers and everything pointed to durability on this Granite. Guys on YouTube show 30-40 foot jumps with this and it just keeps going. It’s a beast right out of the box and it goes faster than needed on 3s to be a basher! My son and I drove this twice today and had some aggressive flips and crashes and it did not skip a beat. I have a foam spacer behind the throttle trigger just to keep the speed reasonable for me and him until we get more practice time. It does not have a training mode on the ESC but no big deal. At some point different shocks will be needed to take the abuse and absorb the slamming but everything else feels and looks really strong right now. The price point and the option to choose your own 2s or 2s is what sold me the on it rather than being stuck with a battery you can’t use or is not worth anything. Great product at a really good price and it’s easy to get the replacement parts online or your LHS soon. Hobbytown in Indy said if people come in to buy the parts then they will start stocking more common parts.

Absolute blast! This truck is built solid. It handles 3s very well and does snow drifting like a champ. Does backflips on demand and goes 50 mph out of the box. For only 300 you get one of the best rtrs on the market.

Solid Truck. Handles amazing on pavement and dirt. Very fast.
The only one I own that I can take out for a run and nothing breaks.
I just sold my last Traxxas and intend to buy another Arrma. I wish I had known
of this brand sooner.

For the price there is not a better 1/10 4wd.

I have owned a Slash, Stampede, Yeti & Twin Hammer and this is my favorite, most reliable
by far.

This vehicle was not my first choice. I was going to go with a nitro truck instead. I began to think and went into the store to speak with the associates in RC. I explained that this was a Christmas gift for my 8 year old son and they strongly advised me to not go with the nitro. As we would have to work on it every time we would run it. So the showed me this truck and I decided to go this route. Let me tell you my son was so excited to see this Christmas morning! He has driven it several times and is able to operate very well at full speed! This truck amazes me at how strong and durable it is! We have only had one thing break and that was the wheelie bar. Which happened due to some in air acrobatic stunts and a hard landing. I highly recommend hobby town for all your RC needs. I will definitely return and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.

Arrma Granite 4X4 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Monster Truck (Orange/Black)
I bought this at the Lake Geneva hobby town on Black Friday.

I also got a 3s 50c battery. This truck is crazy fast. Pulls wheelies all day. It’s a great jumper.
It’s completely water proof. I accidentally drove it into our creek. By the time I got to it it was floating down the creek upside down! I took it out and continued to drive it.
It’s a great backyard bashed. The motor-transmission comes out very easy for maintenance.

My only complaints are the wheelie bar, I’ve already broke two. The shocks could be better. The trucks rolls easily in the grass if it’s under mid to high speed.

Otherwise it’s a total riot and a blast to drive.

This is only my 2nd RC car (after a Tamiya Neo Fighter buggy) and this is a TON of fun. Extremely quick, goes absolutely everywhere and looks indestructible.

Fast (50 mph on 3s), does wheelies on demand, excellently engineered and built rock solid, one of the most durable 4x4 rigs on the market and a sensation to drive. Couple it with a T-Bone Racing front bumper and you will have a bulletproof monster truck. You can’t buy a better 4X4 for the price. I highly recommend ARRMA manufacturing and Hobby Town who has a professionally knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Arrma Granite 4X4 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Monster Truck (Orange/Black)
These trucks are okay. The blx system should be powerful enough to outperform the competition from traxxas and the all plastic driveline is surprisingly durable. However, as is always the case with arrma, they had to mess something up. In this case, the shocks leak oil an unprecedented amount and are basically useless. The rear driveshafts are likely to need upgrading at some point but hopefully arrma has fixed this with with the $40 cvd. They are frustrating to work on though. The power module is needlessly over engineered and hard to remove, requires a aftermarket motor mount or to modify the stock fixed mount as it is not cut right to mesh with a 15t pinion, Possibly more, and arrma seems to have no interest in fixing this unacceptable oversight. In addition, the servo is slower and weaker than stated as the specs listed are at 7.2v and the bec is 6v. In general the arrma servos easily start glitching. Consider the competition from traxxas and both need work and I believe you’ll find a more solid base in traxxas.
