Arrma Big Rock Crew Cab 4X4 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Monster Truck (Blue)
I want to start this by saying this is a very unique concept of truck and I commend arrma for thinking a bit outside the box with this one. I give the creativity +1 for the star rating. However, now for the nitty gritty. These trucks are okay. The blx system should be powerful enough to outperform the competition from traxxas and the all plastic driveline is surprisingly durable. However, as is always the case with arrma, they had to mess something up. In this case, the shocks leak oil an unprecedented amount and are basically useless. The rear driveshafts are likely to need upgrading at some point but hopefully arrma has fixed this with with the $40 cvd. They are frustrating to work on though. The power module is needlessly over engineered and hard to remove, requires a aftermarket motor mount or to modify the stock fixed mount as it is not cut right to mesh with a 15t pinion, Possibly more, and arrma seems to have no interest in fixing this unacceptable oversight. In addition, the servo is slower and weaker than stated as the specs listed are at 7.2v and the bec is 6v. In general the arrma servos easily start glitching. Consider the competition from traxxas and both need work and I believe you’ll find a more solid base in traxxas.

Arrma Big Rock Crew Cab 4X4 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Monster Truck (Blue)
Had this truck since January. Best 1/10 rtr monster truck Ive ever owned. Plenty of power extremely tough and easy to work on. Coming from mostly 1/10 2wd and 4wd traxxas vehicles this truck is much stronger. My biggest frustration with stock traxxas trucks are blown shock caps, snapped half shafts, and screws backing out. After 4 months of bashing on 3s power the shocks still hold oil, the original half shafts have yet to break, and screws stay put. The only part Ive managed to break is a front control arm. This was from a direct rock strike that brought the truck to a complete stop. The only other issue was the servo motor gave out. However, this was covered under the 2 year arrma warranty. The horizon hobby customer service reps are top notch and had me a replacement servo to my door in less than a week. The replacement servo has been trouble free since. The only real thing I see that could be improved is the steering. It is a bit sloppy but this issue is really only noticeable when driving on the road. If you want a truck that will take a beating right out of the box time after time I would highly recommend this truck.

Arrma Big Rock Crew Cab 4X4 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Monster Truck (Blue)
This truck has a ton of bang for the buck. My son has gone through several 3S pack runs without any breakage. To be completely honest this amazes me as he has zero throttle control, backflips on trees and multiple cartwheels it has held up. He has had a few like priced short course trucks that couldn’t compare even after adding MIP drivetrain and RPM limbs they still didn’t hold up like this truck did right out of the box. At the end of the day I would recommend this truck to anyone looking for a 3S truck.

Arrma Big Rock Crew Cab 4X4 3S BLX 1/10 RTR Brushless Monster Truck (Blue)
Worst RC car I have ever purchased, I would not recommend it to anyone. The spur gear kept burning out after 2-3 battery packs, next the center driveshaft snapped in half taking the high speed support with it. After further inspection, I found that the bearings in the engine are bad which was causing all of the other problems(there is play in the pinion). Keep in mind I only have 2-3 hours of runtime on the car and already have a major issue with the motor. I've had other RC's and this is by far the worst and caused me the most headaches. I contacted amain about it, to see if they would send me a replacement because I was pretty sure it was defective from the factory. They told me that because I have 2-3 hours of run time on the car that they can't help me and it's not covered by warranty. So amain basically told me that either this truck was defective but they can't help me because I used it(wouldn't have known it had problems if I didn't use it) or that this truck is just a huge piece of garbage and that's why i'm having all of these problems. Anyways take it from someone who bought this truck and now regrets the purchase, DO NOT BUY THIS TRUCK OR ANY ARRMA FOR THAT MATTER. Save your money, this truck is not worth the time, effort, or headaches you will more than likely experience. Another thing, I have only owned this truck for 5 days...
