This is the Arrowmax V3 Multi Shock Clamp. These shock pliers are compatible with most 1/10 and 1/8 size shocks. Featuring a post for installing/removing the shock end pivot ball and a Delrin clamp that will not scratch your shock shafts these are an excellent addition to any hobbyists tool box.

AM Arrowmax V3 Multi Shock Clamp (Black)
The delrin insert to hold the shock shaft absolutely SUCKS! Way too slippery! As others have said it will not hold the shock shaft to even be able to install a shock end. Avoid at all costs.... I've tried on 1/8th and 10th scale shocks didn't work on either. Good concept, wrong material... Epic fail!

I am very disapointed wiht this tool. It cost me so much, but it can't be used for it's purpose. It can't hold the shock as it slips. The idea is good, plastick do not damaged the shock, but stil it can't hold so much, as you could screw the lower rod of the shock. So I recomended to choose other brand.

not great to be honest.the white part on the tool its made from silicone its doesn't grip too well on the shaft.i recommend the protek, its cheaper and works excellent.

The tool itself is excellent quality, however the rubber/plastic bit that is used for gripping shock shafts is a bit prone to slipping in use if you don't have a good enough grip or if some grease is leftover on the shaft itself. I ended up going back to the Arrowmax V2 shock shaft pliers as their grip strength is better as I don't have to hold the tool nearly as tight to keep the shaft in place. Still a useful tool, though in a way they went backward with the v3 design. Perhaps a different material could replace the white part for better grip in the future.

I have owned this tool for over a year now and am very pleased with it . It grips my 1/10 scale shock shafts very good and only slips if I forget to wipe off oil .I have loaned it out to several racers in the pits and they all love it. Highly recommended .

Being always backordered this amazing tool still has no reviews! So, lets fix this

It's smaller than you can imagine looking at photos, so doesn't need a lot of space in toolbox. Ergonomics is well enough for my oversized palms, handles have special areas for point finger.
Usability: it is first shock tool using delrin for gripping shaft! I was very sceptical about other tools which don't have such thing, mainly because i don't believe that anodized Alu can be delicate with anything clamped in. It holds shafts very well, the only thing missing is markings for shaft diameters near each slot. Also it has two big slots, for 1/8 and 1/10, i've tested only big one, and it definitely works very well. And last one 'subtool' is ball remover/installer. Actually haven't tested it yet, but Tekno shock end fits well, can't see any reason to failure.
