Align AP800 Digital Pitch Gauge

This is a must have item for any heli enthusiast. It is accurate to a tenth of a degree and it attaches solidly, so your hands are free to adjust mechanically or electronically by transmitter. When using the old sytle pitch gauge- you are really just eyeballing it. I find that by using this pitch gauge- I can set up the blades so accurately, that tracking is perfect without having to tape and adjust manually. I just measure the pitch of both blades at midstick and voila. Also, setting all the limits of the swash AFR is just way more accurate and easy. I couldn't imagine using the old style pitch gauge now. This tool will get your bird flying with laser precision and allow you to get all the performance you can.

Before buying this I hated to use the standard pitch gauge as eye balling it never got me where i wanted it. Now with this pitch gauge I can feel comfortable the setting are where they need to be.

This is a must have for anyone flying larger helis! I have had zero issues with is and is very accurate. An easy 5/5 starts for me. Get one you will be satisfied!

Just arrived today, I thought it was DOA, but it turns out the batteries it came with were dead. I', not happy about that, but it beats having to return it.

I really like this digital pitch gauge, but it stopped turning on after a few months of use and or turns off unexpectedly when you hit the zero button. Upon inspecting the batteries and finding they still had a charge, it became clear that the watch battery is not making good contact with the plates. I tried to fix this by using some solder, but the repair didn't last very long... I'm going to take one last shot at it and then either order another one or get something else.
