24KRC 1/10 Toyota Supra MK4 A80 RB Drift Body. Renowned sports car manufactured by Toyota since 1979, saw its fourth generation produced until 2002. It wasn't until 2019, 17 years later, that Toyota introduced the fifth generation. The Supra shares lineage with the Celica, collectively known as Toyota's GT Family. Prior to 2019, Toyota developed a successor for both models: the Toyota GT86, paying homage to the legendary Toyota AE86, the final rear-wheel drive Corolla.

History
The inconspicuous predecessor of the Supra was replaced in 1994, a few years behind schedule, by a controversial model that bore little resemblance to its predecessor. Toyota not only gave the Supra a new look but also a new engine, along with significant improvements across various aspects, aiming to position it as a formidable competitor against sports cars like the Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7, Honda NSX, and Mitsubishi 3000GT. The revamped Supra boasted increased power and reduced weight, achieved through innovative construction methods such as an aluminum bonnet and a plastic fuel tank. Additionally, changes like transitioning to a single-piece exhaust and eliminating features like electronically adjustable damping and telescopic steering wheel adjustment contributed to the weight savings. This new iteration of the Supra gained popularity in Japan, Europe, and particularly in the United States, with a rising presence in the Netherlands. It became a staple in the tuning scene and found its way into events like the D1 Grand Prix, earning recognition with the iconic phrase "Is That a Supraaa!!"
