This is the ProTek R/C "Super Pro 40" Regulated DC Power Supply with USB Charging Port and a total of five power supply outputs! This is the UPDATED Super Pro 40 that features an auto switching 110-220V input with a detachable power cable. By switching the included Type B power cord for any readily available PC-style cord compatible to the plug type used in your country, the Super Pro 40 can be used almost anywhere in the world!* The included power cord is identical to one used for personal computers, so they should be readily available in your country. This power supply features four individual 16 Amp outputs, each individually switched, as well as a single 40 Amp banana plug/binding post output, allowing you to easily operate multiple devices from one power supply! This eliminates the added expense and hassle of a separate distribution box!
Using Switch Mode technology, the ProTek R/C "Super Pro 40" Power Supply provides a higher level of efficiency and reduces the overall weight and size of the power supply compared to other systems with similar features. In addition, the smooth output current makes the "Super Pro 40" ideal for any item that requires a 40 Amp, 12V power source.
The compact size of the "Super Pro 40" will take up less space on your table as well as in your pit bag, and at under 5 pounds the "Super Pro 40" is effortlessly stored and transported. The "Super Pro 40" features an internal cooling system that keeps the power supply cool even when it is being worked hard, as well as current limiting, and short circuit protection circuitry to keep your power supply safe if something goes wrong. Combine this with universal output 4mm banana jacks that can also be used with clamp type connectors, and you have one of the most flexible power supplies available.
These features make the "Super Pro 40" Power Supply the obvious choice for any application that requires a 40 Amp supply.
NOTE: Ensure that you DO NOT exceed the maximum 40 Amp load when using multiple outputs.

It is much larger than I was expecting. I should have done a metric conversion on the size listed within the ad to understand just how big this bad boy is. I can sit two Thunder Power TP610C Chargers on top of the Super Pro 40 Power Supply with room to spare. (I don't keep them there, this is just to give you an idea how big it is). The fan is a bit noisy but seems to keep the unit nice and cool. A good trade off. The case seems a bit cheap but is fit for purpose. With lipo technology advancing at a rapid pace, I think this charger (at 40 amps) will serve well for several years, especially as we start to charge our large capacity batteries at 2c or more. I run four chargers off this unit and don't have to worry about how many amps I'm pulling.
Am I glad I bought it? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes.
>>My 14A, 6 year old Associated Power supply handles this same load like a champ. (BTW, 520W at 13.8 volts is closer to 37.7A...so don't take that 40A value to heart)
>>Case is not level, very cheaply made. When shut off, it continues to run for 3-4 seconds while it bleeds off voltage. That process takes over 4 minutes. Even if you pull the power plug.>>AMain is a great shop, but this power supply DOES NOT represent their great customer service.>>Invest your money in other brands of power supplies please.
I just hope the refund is credited to my account as quick as the debits are removed.
A Main Hobbies.com continues to provide really good service and support and have a teriffic staff who always makes you feel valued.
Update:Customer service contacted me, they gave me a good replacement option, thanks amain, you keep a good recurring customer
This is the first time I have purchased an item from A Main Hobbies. I placed this order on a Sunday evening and received it via FedEx ground (free of charge) on the following Friday. I am a happy camper, I have booked marked this site and will purchase my electronic accessories from A Main Hobbies in the future.
I've purchased one of these supplies, the Super Pro 40 about 3 months or so ago and I have a ProTek 208 charger which I have connected to the first leg of supply from left to right. And what happened is the female connection on the charger I suspect is of weak material because I had a terminal melt and the indicator light failed do to a heat related power draw by the charger. so as it is not listed on or in the manuel but the four terminals in front with switches and indicator lights only should supply 10a not the 20 that the charger is capable of charging at. However the screw nut will handle the load
Any chance to see one day a 220-240 Volts version for european customers?
I'm a little bit jealous of you american fellows, because that power supply is exactly what I need. Only the input voltage is too low.
I cross my fingers and hope it will come soon
Thanks
