Only Losi could take the sizzling heat and scorching speeds of off-road desert racing and bring it to you in a ready-to-run, feature-loaded package. The 1/10 Desert Truck takes RTR performance and realistic detail to the highest level with a fully detailed desert truck body, complete with molded front and rear tube racing bumpers, front skid plate, full roll cage, blue anodized oil-filled aluminum shocks and working off-road lights and taillight. The wheels and tires are even modeled after the full-size versions, completing the most realistic looking 1/10-scale truck on the market. Take the wheel of your own genuine off-road racer with the Desert Truck from Losi.

Features
  • Functioning Off-road lights and taillight
  • Molded roll cage and tubular bumpers
  • Chrome Wheels and realistic Desert Racing all-terrain tires
  • Rugged Suspension with long-travel, aluminum, oil-filled shocks
  • CV style Long Rear Dog bones
  • Losi Radio System with Spektrum DSM 2.4 GHz Technology
  • Losi MSC12RB 12T Fwd/Rev Electronic Speed Control
  • Extended chassis accommodates LiPo and NiMH batteries
  • Low maintenance spider-gear differential
  • Captured rod ends for less ball pops
  • Losi LM-32K 32,000 RPM performance motor

LM-32K Motor
The Desert Truck features a Losi LM-32K 32,000 RPM motor for the best combination of low-end terrain-assaulting torque and top-end speed. Built to work with the installed Losi speed control, the LM-32K motor offers upgraded power right out of the box.

12RB Electronic Speed Control
The Losi 12RB electronic speed control is a full-featured speed control offering performance usually only found on expensive upgrades. Designed to work in conjunction with the installed Losi LM-32K motor, the 12RB ESC has the crisp throttle response to launch the Desert Truck off the line and accelerate to top speed fast.

Spider Diff Gear
The Desert Trucks heavy-duty gear differential features dual rubber O-rings to seal out dirt, a hardened steel bevel and spider gears for unmatched toughness, a precision molded case and heat-treated outdrives.

Long Arm Suspension
The Desert Trucks extended chassis design and long-arm suspension keep the center of gravity low while offering a full 3 inches of suspension travel for unbelievable scale performance. The oil-filled shocks smooth out the roughest terrain, just like the full-size suspensions that they are based on.

DSM Radio System and redesigned electronics
This innovative interference-free DSM radio system will run anywhere, anytime, without signal conflicts or the need to change crystals or assign frequencies. The DSM transmitter utilizes a short, fold-over antenna and requires only 4 AA batteries saving weight as well as money on battery replacement. The DSM receiver also eliminates the need for a long antenna wire and unsightly antenna tube.

Desert Racing Tires and Chrome Wheels
Large diameter chrome wheels come equipped with purpose-built desert racing tires for a realistic look and intense off-road traction. Molded from Losis durable, high-grip blue compound, the desert racing tires grab the ground and propel the Desert Truck to speed over any surface.

Roll Cage
In addition to the fully detailed desert truck body, a true-to-life roll cage, molded tubular bumpers and working off-road light set and taillights make the Desert Truck the most detailed and realistic ready-to-run truck available, bringing the style and excitement of desert racing right to your street.

Battery Compatibility
The Desert Truck chassis is set up to accommodate standard Ni-Cd and Ni-MH battery packs, as well as the latest Li-Po packs (with the installation of upgraded electronics). This allows you to choose any power source you want, or switch between multiple packs for a long day of off-road running.

Losi 1/10 Desert Truck RTR
Owned for almost a year now. FUN truck! Able to survive lots of abuse, manage to break a rod end on a shock. Other than that, this truck performs, and is great for bashing.
Con: shock construction allows the fluid to leak out, so keep an eye on your shocks!
Transmitter is light and kinda cheap looking( compared to traxxis stock tx's)
I will be converting to brushless this summer, just for ease of maintenance.
I am happy with it!

Losi 1/10 Desert Truck RTR
It might be the reciever, they're sometimes glitchy. I put the Traxxas VXL brushless motor and VXL-3S esc and its a screamer!

Losi 1/10 Desert Truck RTR
Another Losi i would hump if i were 8 inches tall .. this lil guys funner then u may think for an RTR ... but once u do ur mods too it and get it dialed in ... ull never regret it ..(ive owned it for a week and threw all kinda good stuff into it) .. takes a whoopin too .. launched this lil fella off a 3 1/2 foot ramp and no problems .. (altho i did add double spings to my shocks) ..

4/5 it could always be better !!!!! great truck tho .!

Losi 1/10 Desert Truck RTR
Good for someone into light bashing and all around playing. I got one when they first came out and sense then have used a novak 4.5 GTB and a VXL. But they are just not tought enough for me.
