Losi 8IGHT-T Nitro 1/8 4WD RTR Truggy w/SLT 2.4GHz Radio

*Caution* When purchasing a hobby grade vehicle parts support is one of the most important aspects of my purchase. This being a Losi item I expected hobby grade product support, I was unfortunately incorrect.

Do yourself a favor and click on the Horizon .com parts schematic within the suspension and exhaust links and you will quickly discover parts for this vehicle have already been discontinued which makes no sense as its still being manufactured.

Losi/Horizon what happens when I break a rear arm?

I have owned this vehicle now for about two years now. I have done alot of upgrades to it over time as the RTR parts were not up to par. Mostly its been upgraded with 4.0 parts whichever is easiest to find. It does handle good, built somewhat well, durable. My biggest complaint with this vehicle overall is getting parts for it. Especially suspension parts as LOSI/TLR has discontinued a great amount. Why sell this vehicle if parts are becoming much much harder to find in the hobby shops along with Ebay. Seems their pushing you to purchase the new updated platform.

Would I recommend this to someone who is wanting to get into the hobby for club racing or light bashing perhaps yes. But I would highly highly recommend saving up or spending more and just buy TLR kit. This vehicle is honestly good but with LOSI/TLR discontinuing parts for this is the main reason why this review only has "X" amount of stars.

-stays running when flipped thanks to the fuel tube being loose in the tank
-great tires for racing and bashing, also light
-amazing and powerful engine

cons
-pain to work on
+reverse thread screws
+uses both metric and American hardware
-bad throttle servo placement that is inefficient and annoying to work with


all in all it is undoubtedly a fun car to drive on and off the track. it never broke anything major that it shouldn't have. the only thing bad is working on it, of course that can be the case with any vehicle it is exceptionally difficult to thanks to some bad design flaws. besides those flaws I think the truggy makes up for it in durability and over all handling.

Fantastic kit for what it is! The shocks were my biggest comment but do shock maintenance! And confirm they will last! Buy one for the obvious how cool everything nitro is! Losi has our backs

Ordering process was a breeze. RTR Truggy arrived within 48hrs. Tops. I will gladly order again as long as I don't harassed with emails daily..

I have had two of these. They are an excellent value. Very tough and fun to drive. I use a Futaba 3pv radio and set the end points correctly for the servos. I ran two gallons of nitro through my first one and never had someo break! And it was ran hard after breaking in.

Great product had to get alot of items upgraded from plastic to metal using losi 8 XT Parts alot stronger

Verry fun nitro truggy can add a o53 dynamite exhaust to it and makes great power!

Learn the nitro and have a blast with this!!!

Awesome rtr truggy. The 28 engine puts out good power. I definitely recommend it.

This truck is a lot of fun! It’s loud, fast, big and puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it. This was my first nitro and I’m hooked now!
